WHOLE30 DAY 5- Breakfast KICKED ASS..

Breakfast this morning was a NICE CHANGE from the typical eggs and veggies.  I came across a similar recipe, and used what I had in the kitchen, and IT. FREAKING. ROCKED. It was just what I needed on this cold rainy morning. Taste like a baked comfort food. LOVE IT! I will be definitely be throwing this into the rotation of meals! The girls even loved it.

Whole 30
Breakfast bowl

Ingredients
1 ripe medium banana
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
1/4 green apple, sliced
1-2 Tablespoons almond butter
1-2 Tablespoons dried coconut flakes
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
Coconut oil, for cooking
Instructions
Using a fork, mash the ripe banana and mix it with the eggs and vanilla in a small bowl. The batter will be lumpy.
Grease a skillet with coconut oil and turn stove to medium heat. Add the lumpy batter and with a spatula, continue to mash and stir the mixture.
Once cooked, remove from skillet and place into a bowl. Top with apple, almond butter, coconut flakes, and cinnamon
Notes
Vanilla bean powder may be hard to find. If you don’t find it, don’t worry! The meal will still taste delicious!
Since this breakfast does not have vegetables (and Whole30 requires veggies at each meal), I usually add a serving or two more at lunch and dinner!

I had recently seen a lot of people talk about this book and how awesome it is. I have been incorporating some faith based books into my daily personal development, and this seemed to come to my attention right at the perfect time that I was starting my Whole3o journey.  Since I am only on chapter 3, I can’t give you the best summary of it, so here is a quick synopsis I got from amazon!

I could absolutely use a little more God in my life, and a lot less Craving, so for me, I couldn’t go wrong with this gem! There is also a study guide type book that you can do along with it that is available on amazon, but I am just reading it on it’s own with another coach doing this along with me. She is really loving it too!
