Per the Whole30 Rules, you are not supposed to weigh or measure yourself during the program. HOWEVER- my pants have felt looser and I feel like I can see a difference…. so I took comparison pics so far, and BY GOD, my belly already looks flatter! Holy cow! SO much bloating GONE. I didn’t even realize how bloated I was! Only 11 days in, I can not WAIT to see what day 31 is going to bring me, as I am already feeling SO GOOD. Aside from my cake craving the other night, I am not feeling deprived AT ALL. And this WHOLE30 approved coffee creamer I discovered has been a GODSEND.

I love love love this analogy of the scale. It is NOT the most significant tool for measurement for your progress. It doesn’t tell you the difference between fat and muscle. It doesn’t tell you if the weight your gaining is fat or muscle, or  if what you are losing is fat or muscle. I know it’s hard to let go of the RELIANT relationship with the scale, but it is SO IMPERATIVE that we learn how to LET THIS GO. This program focuses a lot on forgetting the scale, and focusing on how you FEEL and the changes in your HEALTH. When you are eating correctly, and exercising, the weight loss just FALLS INTO PLACE.

So I am sharing this pic of sliced bananas and almond butter, because this has become my FAVORITE SNACK. The WHOLE30 focuses on eating 3 meals a day, and not snacks unless you really need them. I am up pretty early, and do pretty intense workouts, and am used to eating 6 small meals a day. So I am still transitioning and having a snack between my lunch and dinner. And THIS. IS. HEAVEN. It is just so good and filling. This is a fantastic snack for ANYONE. It is also paired GREAT with a cup of coffee 🙂
