WHOLE30- DAY 10…LAST NITE I DREAMED OF CAKE..

 

Yep…. Last night around 830pm, after scrolling pinterest, I wanted cake, any kind , shape or size. The craving was like a pregnancy craving. It wasn’t pretty. However, at a 1/3 of my way into this, no way Satan, NOT TODAY! Don’t get wrong, I did bitch to anyone who would listen about my need for cake. But I pulled my shit together, had a spoon of almond butter and an apple, chugged water, and put my ass to bed. SO glad I didn’t cave. I would have been pretty pissed at myself today. And guess what? When I woke up this morning, I wasn’t even wanting it anymore. I did dream about it…. but I didn’t have that craving this morning.

I just got done with my workout, which was a Bitch by the way, my legs are sooooo sore , I may not walk tomorrow. This is what a typical after workout snack looks  like for me these days! Whole30 approved New Barn almond milk, the only ingredients are almonds , water and acacia gum, ( can be found at Whole Foods for the nauseating price of almost $6 a container..because of this I only use about 2 oz in my shake and the rest water), handful of  ice, scoop of Cafe Latte , or Vegan Choc, and some pumpkin pie spice. It is freaking delicious, like a treat!  On occasion I have a shake for breakfast instead , but I prefer to have it as my post workout snack.

I am happy to say that my inflammation is still non-existing, my mind is so clear, and I haven’t had any fatigue. I am feeling awesome. Aside from that little stint last night wanting ALL THE CAKE. I am totally over that now. Talk to me tomorrow, hopefully that shit doesn’t come back lurking my brain.
