What I Have Learned Throughout My Coaching Journey

Over the past two years, I have learned so much on this coaching journey of mine! My top 5 that I wanted to share!

  1. Success doesn’t come quick.

This is not a get rick quick business. It takes WORK. You can’t just post sweaty selfies and pics of your shakes. You have to really connect with people, genuinely grow relationships with people, and CARE about them. This business is sharing your health and fitness journey, inspiring others, bettering yourself every day, physically and mentally, and connecting with people. This isn’t a business about selling. This business is about caring about others goals, and providing value that will help others succeed as well. It is also not always going to be successes. You reach many valleys and hills. The coach that will succeed, is the one that doesn’t stop and quit when they hit a valley. They continue to push through, and learn from the valleys. No business is ever perfect, neither is every day, when you embrace that, and push on, that’s when you see success.

  2. I am RELENTLESS. Before starting this journey, I struggled with an eating disorder for 17 years. I knew that is not how I wanted to live for the rest of my life. I worked my ASS OFF. I worked on my body, my mind, and what I put in my body. This coaching business is similar. It has kept me working my ass off on my journey. Making sure that I continue to work on my mind, my fitness and health. I have taken my struggles, and helped others who are going through the same. I have taken my mistakes, and helped others not make the same ones. I have had back injuries, but I always come back strong and giving it my all. Nothing can stop me, from getting results, and from winning in this business. I know that instant gratification is not what is going to take me to where I want to be. I know that working on myself, and this business daily, is what is going to help me continue to persevere.
  3. I don’t need to be perfect.I do not need to have a perfect body to have success in this business. I don’t need to be flawless, or at a certain weight. What I do need, is to be real, and open with my journey. I am a mom of 3, home with my kids every day, while cooking three meals a day, keeping my kids clean and happy, as well as my house clean, and getting a workout in. Showering every day? HA. That doesn’t happen either. Many days, it is not perfect. More days than not, it is not glamorous. That is the beauty of it. Not many moms who are home with their kids, running a business, and getting their workouts in daily, are glamorous. And if they appear that they are, they are lying. Or are taking some kind of super woman injection. And if that is the case, I would like to get in on that. Coaches are every day women (and men), working on their own health and fitness journey, helping others do the same, and keeping it real. Because that is what we are. REAL. Being real, is what makes me connect with others.
  4. My “Beachbody people” are like family. We are strong as individuals, but were stronger together.

I have met so many amazing people since beginning this journey. So many amazing women from all over the US and Canada. Some have become the best of my friends. We talk daily. We all have this same sense of purpose, to help others achieve a healthy quality of life with support. We were introduced to this business, or these programs because they changed somebody else’s lives, and they wanted to share it with someone as well. We provide hope and support to one another every day. We don’t give up on one another. My team of women, has become like a sisterhood. We share ideas, hope, support, struggles. We workout together, we celebrate together. We learn from one another. We have been brought together with a passion, and purpose.

  5. I will never stop working my ass off for my family.I have set so many goals for my business and this family. I want to be able to contribute to a big family Disney trip. I want to pay off student loan debt. I want my husband and I to be able to go away more together. I want to show my kids, that hard work pays off, no matter what life throws at you. I want them to see that anything can be achieved. I want them to be proud of me, and the work that I am doing.

This business gives me hope and passion that I can help other women find the hope and drive to go after their own dreams and goals as well.
