WHOLE30 – DAY 9… PRAISE JESUS LOOK WHAT I FOUND

After researching the shit out of the internet…I was able to find this gem on Amazon. You know I don’t take my coffee lightly. ( technically I do or I wouldn’t be so obsessed with finding this). Now I can get this with one click off of my phone, rather then driving to CT , and going to Whole Foods and buying more stuff than I even went in for. Let’s leave that for my Target trips, shall we? This has truly made me a very happy woman today. I do still miss my stevia in my coffee a bit, but this is soooo doable and I can’t complain about the coffee situation anymore. And I am hoping by day 30, I won’t even be thinking about the damn stevia for my coffee anymore.

Two things I forgot to mention yesterday that I have observed since beginning this.

  1. Sorry if its TMI- but my period usually lasts 10+ days, and isn’t a pleasant experience. I began the WHOLE30 before I started my period this month, and I noticed a definite difference. My period was 6-7 days and my discomfort was much less mild. I WILL FREAKIN TAKE IT! I thought the kids had ruined me. haha So… if you have long and bad periods, why not try it? It’s better then being laid up for a week and complaining , or popping nonstop advil , no?
  2. I forgot how truly sore this workout program makes you when you aren’t using the Performance Line Recover. Holy Moly. I am a month into this program, and each day I wake up sore as shit like it’s my first week doing it. The Recover is one thing I do miss, it definitely helps with the muscle repair and soreness. But I also know that it means I am getting stronger! Sore is GOOD. Black coffee didn’t stop me, and soreness sure as shit isn’t going to stop me either!

I will end this post today with a delish new recipe I came across that I can NOT wait to make! Prob will do this weekend! And I will put over zoodles!

are you drooling yet?

Whole30 Buffalo Ranch Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs: 1 lb ground chicken 1 tsp Real salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder Sauce: 3/4 cup chicken bone broth 1/2-3/4 cup hot sauce (check ingredients) 2 1/2 Tbsp dry ranch seasoning Instructions

In a medium sauce pot, combine the chicken bone broth, hot sauce, and ranch seasoning (place on the stove for later use) Mix together the ground chicken and spices until combined Form into meatballs (approximately 20 small meatballs) Heat 1-2 Tbsp of oil in a large skillet, over medium-high heat Sear the meatballs for 6-8 minutes, turning the meatballs for an even sear. While the meatballs are searing, bring the hot sauce mixture to a boil and allow to cook until it has reduced by half and thickened (about 6-8 minutes) Add the sauce to the meatballs after they have been seared and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.

MANGIA!

If you try this recipe, please let me know what you think!
