DAY 1 IN THE BOOKS FOLKS! It wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. Today was MMA SPEED, and it was only 27 minutes , 6 rounds total. It felt pretty badass. My coordination does need a little bit of work. I know with consistency I will improve. That’s the great thing about documenting your journey, you get to see where you improve, get faster and get stronger! Honestly though, I think my biggest accomplishment here is that I completed my breakfast, workout and post workout snack all before NOON. THAT in itself is a miracle for me lately. My alarm is set for 5-530 every morning. I have no problem getting moving once I get out of bed, but getting my ass out of bed and not hitting snooze is the hardest thing for me. I know it is like ripping off a band-aid, I need someone to come do it for me. Just drag my ass right out of bed! If anyone wants to have an early morning texting date with me, so we can get our workouts done EARLY, let me know! I would love to get back into the early morning routine again with my workouts. I did it two years ago with Max30 and felt amazing. NOT without the help of Performance Energize. I honestly don’t know how people even function without that stuff. It is like liquid gold…..fellow moms see my correlation there?

Need ideas for a simple post workout snack/meal?

Doesn’t get much simpler than that guys. I hard boil eggs before my workout, and they’re cooled off by the time I am done, I can even take it on the go with an apple if I need to run out the door. Since I just did the WHOLE30 the past 30 days I haven’t been drinking Performance Recover. But I think by next week I will incorporate it back into my routine as my post workout snack/meal on my longer workout days. I really miss it with the muscle soreness! And it is super tasty!
