WHOLE30 – DAY 26 THE HOME STRETCH!
I seriously can not believe I am almost to the end! Or the beginning, I should say. This has been eye opening for me and how food makes me feel! These days, I crave veggies, avocado, and protein! NOT CARBS! NOT CAKE! NOT PASTA! AND WAIT FOR IT. NOT STEVIA IN MY COFFEE! The feeling is really just freaking awesome. So why did I say , its the beginning? Because on day 31, I am probably not going to be eating much different than I did on day 1-30. I am loving and thriving on these foods I am eating and feel great. I will be carrying on a Paleo eating style after this is all done. Pretty similar to WHOLE30 but not quite as strict. The only thing I am looking forward to after day 30 is an occasional flavor shot in my coffee at Starbucks. And I would be lying if I said I wasn’t planning on having a small treat on Thanksgiving. Will it be pie? Probably not, actually, the thought of pie doesn’t even appeal to me at all at the moment. I am thinking a little gravy with my turkey sounds good though! And yes, my birthday is coming up, you can be sure as shit I will have a piece of birthday cake. However, I am going to try to find something gluten free, because the gluten, as I knew for the past year, just kills me.
This 30 days, has totally changed my mindset in more then my feelings about food. I feel stronger. Not in a physical sense, but mentally! I know I can DO HARD THINGS. I know I can get out of my comfort zone! I know I can mentally handle, eating without measuring everything and without counting calories, and not go in a downwards spiral with my mental health. I have overcome an eating disorder. I am thriving in my physical and mental health and going outside of my comfort zone with food. I am living off of proteins other then egg whites and chicken breasts. I am eating whole eggs, and enjoying the shit out of that yolk. THAT is winning in my book.
This my friends, I wanted to share with you today. This delicious Superfoods choc cake I had for breakfast. Yep. Breakfast.
Chocolate shakeology mixed w a mashed banana and egg, cooked on the frying pan into a lumpy delicious mess. Cooked enough so I don’t get sick from raw egg. Then topped with some drizzled All natural almond butter.
Freaking delicious. Freaking on point with my nutrition goals.
So what is next? November 21 I will be beginning Core De Force with the rest of my team and Beta group! I am super excited! I will be following everything to a T, just doing it with a Paleo eating style. I will document my journey on here as well!
